- Summary: Soar Methodist Chapel was built in 1834 and rebuilt in 1903. The later chapel is built in the Classical style, with a gable entry plan, two storeys, a large arch in the facade and tall rounded headed windows Itwas designed by architect W.Cunllo Griffiths of Pontyberem. By 1905 Soar had replaced Hen Gapel Soar (NPRN:6398) which became the Sunday School.
RCAHMW, August 2011 - Description: Built in 1834 and rebuilt in 1903 in the Classical style, gable entry type. The architect was W.Cunllo Griffiths. A prominant feature of this Chapel is the large arch in the facade. Present status [2002]: Chapel By 1905 this had replaced Hen Gapel Soar (NPRN:6398) which became the Sunday School (RCCEORBWM). Status (2000): in chapel use.

My great great grandparents were married in Kinnerton Chapel in Old Radnor on 21st May1850. I have been searching for information on the Chapel, so was pleased to find this website.
