- Summary: Peniel Chapel was first built in 1747and rebuilt in 1903 in the Arts and Crafts style with a gable entry plan. This chapel was converted into a dwelling c.1950 and by 2003 was in use as holiday accommodation.
RCAHMW, May 2011 - Description: Built originally in 1747. Stone walls, and slate roof: former gable-entry chapel? Stone-built, gable-entry chapel, illustrating possibly some Arts & Crafts touches. Otherwise, apparently much altered. Attic window strips have been added to the slate roof in return elevations. The front gable facade has a gabled porch with 2 narrow, small-paned C20 windows over it, in turn set beneath a slate plaque with "Peniel/ T. C. / 1903" in raised letters. Present status [2003]: other (holiday accommodation).

My great great grandparents were married in Kinnerton Chapel in Old Radnor on 21st May1850. I have been searching for information on the Chapel, so was pleased to find this website.
