- Summary: Bethania Baptist Chapel (2) was built c.1900 as a replacement for the submerged Bethania (1) NPRN 8292. This is stone built in the Romanesque style with a gable entry plan and a triplet of windows in the front gable. A stylistically-similar chapel house is attached at the rear.
RCAHMW, January 2011 - Description: Built after November 1895 (R Mortan, The building of the Elan Valley dams (1997), p. 56) or ca. 1900 (J B Sinclair & R W D Fenn, Marching to Zion: Radnorshire chapels (1990)) as a replacement for the submerged Bethania (1)/Bethany (1) (NPRN:8292). A stone building with a triplet of windows in the front gable, above the porch; attached & stylistically-similar chapel house at rear.

My great great grandparents were married in Kinnerton Chapel in Old Radnor on 21st May1850. I have been searching for information on the Chapel, so was pleased to find this website.
