- Summary: Siloh (2) Methodist Chapel was built in 1874 and replaced Shiloh (1) (NPRN: 306917) which was built on adjacent site in 1847. Shiloh (1) was sold in 1875 and subsequently became 1 and 2 Shiloh Cottages. Shiloh (2) was brick built in the Simple Gothic style with a gable entry plan. The chapel had a projecting porch with angle buttresses, black and red lozenge-tile floor and two stone steps to the chapel. It also had 4-bay side walls with angle buttress at each end and metal plinth ventilators. The rear projection was narrower. The red brick plinth survives with a vitreous brick drip but this chapel was just a ruin in 2002.
RCAHMW, December 2010 - Description: Built in 1847, rebuilt on present site 1874. Present status [1998]: unknown See entry in NMRW database for 11436 & 306917. Replaced Shiloh (1) (NPRN:306917 in END); built on adjoining site in 1874; Shiloh (1) sold in 1875 and subsequently became 1 & 2 Shiloh Cottages. Shiloh (2) was a red brick chapel (c.f. with Llawr-y-glyn and Caersws Wesleyasn Methodist Churches and Salem MC (11433): had a projecting porch with angle buttresses, black & red lozenge-tile floor and two stone steps to chapel; 4-bay side walls with angle buttress at each end and metal plinth ventilators; narrower rear projection. Red brick plinth survives with vitreous brick drip. Graveyard retained and maintained in good order by Trustees (Visted by O M Jenkins, 31/10/2002).

My great great grandparents were married in Kinnerton Chapel in Old Radnor on 21st May1850. I have been searching for information on the Chapel, so was pleased to find this website.
