- Summary: Penarth Welsh Independent Chael was originally built in 1789, reworked in 1838, rebuilt in 1847 and restored/largely rebuilt and a house added in 1906. A plaque reads: "Penarth/ Capel Annibynwyr/ adeiladwyd 1789/ adgyweiriwyd 1832/ailadeiladwyd 1847". The present chapel, dated 1906, is built in the Gothic style with a gable entry plan and small pane segmental-head windows. Penarth is now Grade 2 Listed as a well preserved country chapel with a fine twentieth century interior.

My great great grandparents were married in Kinnerton Chapel in Old Radnor on 21st May1850. I have been searching for information on the Chapel, so was pleased to find this website.
