- Summary: Beulah English Baptist Church was first built in 1846 and rebuilt in 1877. The later chapel is stone built in the Gothic style with a gable-entry plan and tall diamond glazed windows.
RCAHMW, November 2010 - Description: First built in 1846, and the church established in 1851. Present chapel of 1877. Stone-built, slate-roofed gable-entry chapel; gable entry of rock-faced stone in snecked courses, with gabled porch with doorway in reveals, its ashlar over-door inscribed "Beulah Baptist Chapel 1877"; 2 diagonally-boarded doors; flanking pointed windows with Y-tracery; simple lancet triplet over & spherical opening over that. Memorial stone laid by Capt. O M ?Charles Read of Plasdinam Hall & dated "AD - 1877"; gable coping & wrought-iron finial. Rear gable slate-hung; lean-to vestry with half-hipped slate roof & a further extension. Stone rubble sides, with 2 visible lancets to r.h. & 3 to l.h. return. Contemporary front dwarf wall & railings & 2 pairs of gates, to chapel & graveyard respectively. Status (2002): chapel.

My great great grandparents were married in Kinnerton Chapel in Old Radnor on 21st May1850. I have been searching for information on the Chapel, so was pleased to find this website.
