- Summary: Castell Methodist Chapel was built in 1843 in the Simple Gothic style with a long-wall entry plan. It is constructed with red-brick walls and a slate roof, with a chapel house on the right hand side under the same roofline. There are some early twentieth century features such as a brick porch and window openings. By 2003 this chapel had been converted into a house.

Shallow gabled porch with dripstone & 4-centred head; plaque over inscribed "Castle Chapel/ erected/ 1843". Tall brick-framed window openings with dripstones and transom & mullion windows with cusped heads to lights; two similar windows in l.h. gable end. Roadside elevation of house with ?blocked door, & late-C20 3-light window above & below; 3-storey r.h. return. C19 dwarf walls & railings before chapel house and garden. Status (2003): other (house).

My great great grandparents were married in Kinnerton Chapel in Old Radnor on 21st May1850. I have been searching for information on the Chapel, so was pleased to find this website.
