- Summary: Soar Independent Chapel was built in 1904 in the Gothic style with a gable entry plan and leaded windows. By 2002 this chapel had been converted for residential use.
RCAHMW, November 2010 - Description: Plaque reads: "Soar/Ysgoldy yr Annibynwyr/1904". In C20 became surplus to requirements, and rented to Methodists (Wesleyans) after they left Llwyn-hen. Small red brick chapel: gable entry chapel set on a bank, with triple lancet window above lean-to porch and flanking single lancets. Three-bay side elevations with buttresses, but the cambered-headed window openings here of late C19 or early C20 with sash windows with margin panes. Simple purlin roof. In course of conversion to a dwelling. Visted by O M Jenkins, 30/10/2002. Status (2002): other (house).

My great great grandparents were married in Kinnerton Chapel in Old Radnor on 21st May1850. I have been searching for information on the Chapel, so was pleased to find this website.
