- Summary: Tabernacle Methodist Chapel was built in 1785, rebuilt in 1815 and rebuilt again in 1877. The present chapel, dated 1877, was designed by architect Richard Owens of Liverpool. It is built in the Gothic style with a gable entry plan, basement Sunday School and small spire. Tabernacle is now Grade 2 Listed.
RCAHMW, November 2010 - Description: The chapel was built 1785, modified, altered and rebuilt 1815, 1874-7 to the design of the Liverpool-based architect, Richard Owen (Costn £3678 19s 4d). Built in the Gothic style, gable entry type. Status (2000): in chapel use.
1874-7 Richard Owen of Liverpool. Victorian chapel in French chateau style, Gothic Gigantic. Uncoursed rubble with ashlar quoins, features etc. Small stone spire. Ornate gable front, basement Sunday School. Iron railings and gates. 1993 PCNPA.

My great great grandparents were married in Kinnerton Chapel in Old Radnor on 21st May1850. I have been searching for information on the Chapel, so was pleased to find this website.
