- Summary: Felinganol Baptist Chapel was built in 1756, rebuilt in 1799 and rebuilt again in 1833. Further alterations took place in 1833 and in 1920, which included a refronting project. The present chapel, dated 1920, is built in the Gothic style of the long-wall entry type and with a total immersion pool in the small churchyard. Felinganol is now Grade 2 Listed.

1799 original with Victorian restorations. Half hipped gables. Slate roof. Unpainted rendered stone. Gothic windows timber interlaced glazing bars. Classical expressed quoins. Double access on long side. C19 interior. Immersion pool in graveyard. 1993 PCNPA.
The church was formed in 1794 (1998 Llawlyfr of Undeb Bedyddwyr Cymru) and was built before 1800 (1851 R. Census), in 1756? (date plaque), 1799 (date plaque, PCNPA); it was probably rebuilt (date plaque & Cadw) in 1833; further alterations of 1883 and 1920 (date plaque and Cadw). My great great grandparents were married in Kinnerton Chapel in Old Radnor on 21st May1850. I have been searching for information on the Chapel, so was pleased to find this website.
