- Summary: Trefin Methodist Chapel was built in 1786, rebuilt in 1834 and restored in 1936. The present chapel, dated 1834, was built in the Simple Round-Headed style with a long-wall entry plan and two storeys. Trefin is now Grade 2 Listed.
RCAHMW, November 2010 - Description: The chapel was built in 1786, and was rebuilt in 1834, probably as the present chapel (Cadw); in 1936 the chapel was restored. Built in the Simple Round-Headed style, long-wall entry type. Status (2000): in chapel use. Stone/slate render. Half hipped roof. Victorian. Adjoining hall being converted to Youth Hostel and Community Hall. 1993 PCNPA.
The chapel was built in 1786 (1851 R. Census, PCNPA, Cadw), and was rebuilt in 1834 (1851 R. Census, PCNPA, Cadw), probably as the present chapel (Cadw); in the later C19 the façade was probably redecorated, and in 1936 the chapel was restored (date plaque, PCNPA, Cadw). Status (2000): in chapel use. In 1993 the adjoining hall was serving as a Youth Hostel & Community Hall.
The building has been closed and the Pembrokeshire Coast National Park Authority is in touch with the Presbyterian Church of Wales.

My great great grandparents were married in Kinnerton Chapel in Old Radnor on 21st May1850. I have been searching for information on the Chapel, so was pleased to find this website.
