- Summary: Glandwr Independent Chapel was built in 1712, enlarged in 1717, enlarged/rebuilt in 1774, 1800, 1836 and again in 1876. The present chapel, dated 1876, was designed by architect John Humphries of Treforest and built by J.Tracey of Swansea. The chapel is built in the Simple Round-Headed style of the long-wall entry type.
RCAHMW, November 2010 - Description: The chapel was founded and built in 1712, modified, altered or rebuilt in 1717, 1774, 1800 and 1836; it was rebuilt again in 1876, architect J.Humphreys of Treforest and builder J.Tracey of Swansea. Built in simple round-headed style, of Long-wall entry type. Status (1998): in chapel use.
Painted rendered stone, arch topped windows dual side entrance via stone porches. Reticulated corners, slated half hipped gable roof. Set in graveyard. 1993 PCNPA.

My great great grandparents were married in Kinnerton Chapel in Old Radnor on 21st May1850. I have been searching for information on the Chapel, so was pleased to find this website.
