- Summary: Deer Park Baptist Chapel was built in 1830, modified in 1845 and rebuilt in 1884. The present chapel, dated 1884, was designed by architect George Morgan of Carmarthen and built in the Gothic style with a gable-entry plan, a schoolroom in the basement and flanking turrets. Deer Park is now Grade 2 Listed as a well preserved example of Morgans work.

Large highly detailed Gothic building in coursed snecked rubble with sandstone details, buttresses, window surrounds etc. 1993 PCNPA.
This was the third Baptist chapel built in Tenby. Information from R Scourfield.
The church (chapel) was formed in 1830 (1998 Llawlyfr of Undeb Bedyddwyr Cymru). The present church, the 3rd in Tenby (R Scourfield), was built in 1884 by George Morgan of Carmarthen (architect), & by the Tenby builders, J Harris & J Kelly; it was opened in 1885 (Cadw). The gallery columns are by the Glasgow founders, McFarlane & Co, the organ was brought in 1970 from a Pontypridd chapel (Cadw). Status (1998): in Baptist use.

My great great grandparents were married in Kinnerton Chapel in Old Radnor on 21st May1850. I have been searching for information on the Chapel, so was pleased to find this website.
