- Summary: Brynhenllan Methodist Chapel was built in 1769 and rebuilt in 1799. The present structure and interior date from a second rebuild in 1842, constructed in the later Vernacular style with a long-wall entry plan and two storeys. Brynhenllan is now Grade 2* Listed for it's very fine 1842 interior, including a five sided gallery on marbled timber columns, rare in south west Wales.

Roughcast render on stone, render surrounds. Original joinery, round head sashes. Primitive side entry façade. Hall at side. Surviving early façade. Walled forecourt with railings and gates. 1993 PCNPA.
The chapel was built before 1800 (1851 R. Census), namely, in 1769 (date plaque & Cadw) and was rebuilt in 1799 (date plaque & Cadw). My great great grandparents were married in Kinnerton Chapel in Old Radnor on 21st May1850. I have been searching for information on the Chapel, so was pleased to find this website.
