- Summary: Blaenau Gwent Baptist Chapel was built in 1660, rebuilt in 1715 by builder William Philips, and modified in 1839 builder John Davies of Llaniddel. Further alterations took place in 1880 and 1896 and by 1899 the chapel had been extended considerably on the north side. IN 1915 the chapel was converted to a sunday school and replaced by a new one, built in the Gothic style, to the east side (SO21550466). By 2003 both buildings had been demolished and replaced by a new structure constructed in the late Twentieth Century style of the gable-entry type.

My great great grandparents were married in Kinnerton Chapel in Old Radnor on 21st May1850. I have been searching for information on the Chapel, so was pleased to find this website.
