- Summary: Merchants Hill baptist Chapel was built in 1888, to the design of architect George Morgan of Carmarthen, and modified in 1900 with the instalation of new galleries. The chapel is built in the Gothic/Lombardic style, with a gable-entry plan, two storeys and a rose window. Merchants Hill is now Grade 2 Listed as a good example of a late nineteenth century chapel by the celebrated Carmarthen architect George Morgan and for it's fine galleried interior.

My great great grandparents were married in Kinnerton Chapel in Old Radnor on 21st May1850. I have been searching for information on the Chapel, so was pleased to find this website.
