The first Hermon Chapel was built in 1797 and then rebuilt in 1854 and 1928. The latest chapel is built in the Vernacular style with simple round-headed windows on the first floor.

Parkhill Methodist Chapel was built in 1883 in the Arts and Craft and Sub-Classical style of the gable entry type. Since 1982 the chapel has been converted into residential flats.
