The Quakers' Yard Meeting house was built in1746. From 1831 to 1887 the site was used as an Intermediate School. By 2000 the building had been demolished.

Bethel Babtist Church was built in 1798 and rebuilt in 1866. In 1914 the church was demolished to make way for Llwyn-On reservoir and rebuilt on another site in 1927.

The first Trinity Chapel, Defynnog, was built in 1793, then rebuilt in 1829. The chapel was rebuilt again in 1888 in the Simple Round-Headed style with a gable entry plan.
