Seion Welsh Baptist Chapel was built in 1849 to the design of Isaac Price of Rhymni. It was later rebuilt/modified in 1887, and further renovated in 1927-8. It appears in the 1851 Religious Census....
Capel-y-Craig Chapel was built 1826 and situated somewhere between Capel Mair and the school. The chapel closed in 1901 and two houses were built on the chapel site.
