Bethesda Independent Chapel was built in 1821 and rebuilt in 1884 in the Simple Gothic style of the gable-entry type.

Bryn-Coch Methodist Chapel was built in 1822 and rebuilt in 1873 in the Vernacular style of the long-wall entry type. The chapel closed c.1962 and has since been converted into a holiday home.
